Gord Plouffe
Gord Plouffe, P.Eng. is Principal Advisor, Construction & Drilling Operations at Carbon Alpha.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary and over 25 years of industry experience. He started his career in field completion operations then transitioned into subsurface reservoir engineering. Over the last 18 years, he has been operationally focused on construction & drilling engineering. His career has allowed him to work across North American and internationally.
In his role, Gord works to safely acquire subsurface appraisal data and deliver integral CCUS wells for long-life service.
He is working at Carbon Alpha because he believes in human prosperity through access to abundant and affordable energy. He also believes that net-zero targets can simultaneously be achieved with broad CCUS implementation.
