Patrick Elliott
Patrick Elliott, P.Geol. is the Chief Operations Officer and co-founder of Carbon Alpha.
He has a Bachelor of Science of Geology (Hons) from Western University. He worked in upstream energy development for 30 years and has co-founded two energy companies previous to Carbon Alpha. He is an Associate with Creative Destruction Lab and ScaleUp, where he volunteers to help early and mid-stage entrepreneurs develop their businesses.
At Carbon Alpha, Patrick works on aspects of business organization, business development, technical aspects, and operations.
He sees his role as an opportunity to make a positive difference in Canada's industrial emissions performance and be a part of the national leadership for emissions management. He would love to see Calgary be viewed as the global future of energy leadership and create a thriving energy ecosystem for future generations.
