Simon Bregazzi
Simon Bregazzi serves as CEO at Carbon Alpha.
He earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Actuarial Science from Western University. Simon spent the first half of his career in finance, ultimately establishing and leading Goldman Sachs’ Calgary investment banking office. He spent the second half of his career in energy, most recently as co-founder and CEO of a Canadian gas producer, Jupiter Resources.
His role focuses on the strategic, commercial, financial, and organizational aspects of Carbon Alpha.
Simon believes that decarbonization is one of the greatest global challenges we face. Lots of folks are talking about it, but very few are stepping up to do something. Carbon Alpha sees an opportunity to use our team’s skills and experience to make meaningful progress in addressing the challenge.
