Slade Thornhill
Slade Thornhill, P.Eng. is a Senior Development Engineer at Carbon Alpha.
He has a Bachelor of Science In Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Recently, Slade obtained his CFA Level 1 and Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. He has 25 years of energy experience including reservoir, production, operations, development, midstream, commercial negotiations, strategic planning, infrastructure planning, leadership and sustainability projects.
In his role, Slade puts concepts to reality by coordinating the efforts of the team to optimize the development plan for projects and execute them in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
He is at Carbon Alpha because he is passionate about sustainable energy solutions, and has the skills to help Alberta, Canada, and the world decarbonize to reach a sustainable future where there will be no waste and a better ecological balance. He feels fortunate to work with a great team full of smart, caring and energetic people who share his passion and have the skills to match.
