Taylor Berezowski
Taylor Berezowski, P.Geol. is a Senior Geologist at Carbon Alpha.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary. She has over a decade of experience in Canada’s petroleum sector, in both carbonate and siliciclastic reservoirs, incorporating a wide variety of geological characterizations, caprock integrity tests, reservoir drilling & optimization techniques in the WCSB and Williston Basin. Prior to joining Carbon Alpha, Taylor worked for Cenovus Energy and Whitecap Resources where she worked in oil sands, EOR, and CCUS plays. Career highlights to date include chairing the CSPG’s SIFT committee from 2013-2014, presenting at GeoConvention’s 2022 Core Conference, and becoming the Lead Geologist for the renowned Weyburn Unit miscible CO2 flooding project.
Her role at Carbon Alpha leverages and builds upon her existing sequestration expertise, prioritizing basin analysis and detailed reservoir characterization work for optimal placement of CO2 injection sites.
